An Association of Naturopathic Physicians (ANP) is a professional association for naturopathic physicians (naturopaths) in a specific area of naturopathic medicine (naturopathy); in a given state or territory of the USA or in the District of Columbia; or in a given province or territory of Canada.

 


Specialty Associations of Naturopathic Physicians (Naturopaths)

Specialty Associations of Naturopathic Physicians (Specialty ANPs) are the professional associations for naturopathic physicians (naturopaths) within specific areas of naturopathic medicine (naturopathy).

 

USA State, District, & Territory Associations of Naturopathic Physicians (Naturopaths)

USA State, District, and Territory Associations of Naturopathic Physicians (State, District, & Territory ANPs) are the professional associations for naturopathic physicians (naturopaths) in the USA, its territories, and the District of Columbia.  In some states, an ANP is found under a different name.  Currently,

  • 32 states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico have associations of “naturopathic physicians”
  • 1 state, Arizona, has a naturopathic “medical association”
  • 10 states have associations of “naturopathic doctors”
  • 7 states and the US Virgin Islands do not yet have associations of naturopathic physicians

The American Association of Naturopathic Physicians (AANP) is the national association for naturopathic physicians (naturopaths) in the USA.

 

Canadian Associations of Naturopathic Physicians (Naturopaths)

Canadian Province and Territory Associations of Naturopathic Physicians (Canadian Province & Territory ANPs) are the professional associations for naturopathic physicians (naturopaths) in Canadian provinces and territories.  In Canadian provinces and territories, ANPs are sometimes found under a different names.

The national ANP in Canada is the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND).
